So basically I wanted to upgrade my GPU, when I install it the computer turns on for a split second and then turns off. It still works with my old GPU, I was wondering if the problem was my PSU and if its is too low powered.

Old GPU: R7 260x (XFX)
New GPU: R9 270 (Sapphire)
PSU: Fractal Design Integra R2 650W ATX12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Power Supply
CPU: AMD FX 4130

Solution

defective graphic card..
it's happens to any graphic card with vrm problem..

there's no way to fix it. if your card still covered by warranty, then RMA is the only way..

and your psu is more than enough for your system and your new graphic card..
