Hi

My boomphones are damaged, I meant to just buy new headphones but don't really wanna splash money
This happened randomly when I took off the headphones

Is just the plastic broken? Or do the headphones not work? If only the plastic broke, nothing a little duck tape or electrical tape can't fix :) Not the prettiest solution, but better than buying new headphones.

Hi

I uhm tried Scotch tape which isn't the sturdiest option and it woudnt hold
As far as I'm concerned, headphones work, just the plastic, disappointed tbh, really always though these had great build quality, that on the other hand..
I guess I'll try electrical tape

If you're familiar with soldering you can mod the M50s to have a detachable cable for cheap.

Or you could shorten the 11.5' long cable for convenience without needing to buy any materials ( besides a soldering iron if you don't already have one).

I just ordered them with corded cables, will not tty anything unless the cable actually gets damaged, anyways, have free warranty for replacement with NCIX for 2 years so its fine

Yep, my reason for taking them, ubfortunatrly , straight cable was discounted to 130$ and corded was 99, so that was my obvious choice!
