Well, apparently some people had issues. It should work though but it won't work WITH the graphics card it will work IN ADDITION TO it though. Are you planning to use this with a laptop or a desktop? There's been mixed reviews on this unit as well but there is a pretty good article about it at the following link. It's the same even though the model number is different. One is US model, one is overseas model.

agreed. this is extremely attractive to laptop users who might be using battery power since the usb monitors only use a painfully low 5 watts. for a desktop user, even one who wants to move things around, a real monitor is much better.

on top of this, i find the tablets that can now receive monitor signals wirelessly and act as a touchscreen wireless external monitor for another pc based OS much more attractive for many countless reasons.

For sure there are better options. Surprisingly though for a tech driven country like India is they have extremely limited availability of computer and electronics hardware there so he might be limited in his choices. Certainly he can find a better monitor if it's for a desktop setup though for not too much more than that. That's about equal to 75.00 when converted and the US model is about the same so I'd think for 110.00 dollars US he could find a regular monitor that would work better with a desktop.

Tech-wise, yes I'm tad limited but not extreme. If a product is launched in US, it takes some time to get inside my country and also, the tax levied are awfully high. Hence, people in here sometimes import electronic goods from other countries. Also, this is the ONLY USB MONITOR in my country I've found online. This has depressed me a lot. And I had a plan to set this up on my desktop. Since it's not worth/possible to use it with my graphics card, I gave up.

I concur. But, 1815.45 rupees LED/LCD monitor is the most cheapest one ever. The least expensive with native 1366*768 resolution monitor costs about 4,500 rupees (70 USD)
