hi, im new to pc gaming and im looking to build a pc in a couple months. will these parts work together...

CPU- Amd Fx-6300
GPU- Amd R9 270x
Ram- 8gb 2133mhz
Motherboard- ASUS 90-MIBJK0-G0EAY0MZ - AM3+ M5A97 R2.0
Psu- corsair 600w
and a 1tb hardrive.

Yes that works. I need to know what PSU that is (just to make sure it is reliable), but that is all.

Don't make a parts list months before you buy, as prices change, new products come out, and some get discontinued.

Components are compatible with each other. You should ask when buying because price variations can change the opinion. Also what is your budget and what are you building this for?

I would suggest a different PSU. If you're in the US, you could get a XFX 650w for 49.99 after Mail in Rebate. (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1650snlb9) <<

Everything will be compatible though. The PSU will be able to hold the system together, but not ideal in a higher overclocking system.

Thanks, I'm probably just gonna use it for gaming, I want it to play most new games on around high settings and I'm in the UK so I've got a budget of around £500.

Thanks, I wasn't really thinking of over clocking but that's not to say I wouldn't do it in the future, i think i'll still get that though incase i do want to over clock and its only a tiny bit more expensive.
