what should i upgrade first on my pc?

my PC is a lenovo, i5 3.10 GHz, 1 tb hard drive, 12 gb of ram, and a gtx 660 superclocked. it is also running windows 8 64-bit. The pc is very quiet.

GPU and PSU if it is required for the new GPU if you want better gaming performance. You could add a SSD as boot drive for faster starting and loading system.

No need to change anything. SC 660 is still very good GPU. 12 gigs of RAM is plenty. With 1TB HDD you can add 120GB SSD and it will give you faster boot/load times.

Even still considering to upgrade then obvious choice is GPU though I would still recommend continue using 660 and wait for Maxwell 800/900 whatever they name it from nVIDIA.

One question I have is how would i move my operating system to a ssd if possible?

You can use Cloning software for this purpose. Most of the SSDs come with cloning software which can be downloaded from their manufacturer's web site. What is the size of your C:\ drive

899gb and have 735gb left
