Hi everyone, I'm getting a Budget of ₹80,000 Indian Rupee ( $1300 USD ) and Me and my Bro had an argument that his build is better so we both made a Build in that budget and let us know which Build is better for Gaming on 1600x900 Res till 2019 .

Build #1 -

Intel Core i5 4440
GIGABYTE G1 Sniper B5
8GB Corsair Ram ( 2x4GB )
Galaxy GeForce GTX 780 Refrence Design
Seasonic M12II-750 Bronze
Cooler Master Siedon 120v
NZXT H440 Green
NZXT LED KIT Green

Total Cost = ₹80,530 Indian Rupee

Build #2 -

AMD FX 9370
MSI 990FXA-GD80
Zotac GeForce GTX 760 2GB in SLI
Kingston HyperX 8GB ( 1x8GB )
Corsair VS650
Cooler Master Siedon 120v
Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-01 Red

Total Cost - ₹79,920 Indian Rupee

Cost Diff between these 2 Builds = ₹610 = $11 xD :p

Please tell me which Build is better for GAMING on 1600x900 res till 2019 :)

Solution
If this is for say 5 years ahead then don't go for either of these two cards. Stick with single 770 with 4GB VRAM or R9 290 with 4GB VRAM and that would do the job.

PSU: Check the review on the PSU under consideration to have better understanding.

Out of these two, I've made certain changes and sticking with Intel build for sure:

Intel Core i5 4440
GIGABYTE G1 Sniper B5
8GB Corsair Ram ( 2x4GB )
Galaxy GeForce GTX 760
Seasonic S12II-620 Bronze
NZXT H440 Green
NZXT LED KIT Green

780 is totally overkill for gaming at 1600x900 res. 760 would do the job easily.

Well the second one is way better in terms that it has the advantage to overclock whereas the i5-4440 is on elf the first 4th gen i5 and will not overclock as it is locked.

You may think the 760 will outperform the 780 or the other way round. But personally I would go for a 780 as a single card is more stable and will achieve a slightly (just slightly maybe 1-5 frames) FPS difference. And if you think about the future or plan ahead, the 780 will be a good choice for a SLI. Although the 780 is slightly expensive, however if you put this into the second build then it will be a gaming beast.

If there can be a switch around, I would:
Change the RAM on the second build to a G.Skill as it will not interfere the CPU cooler (here's where I introduce the CPU cooler whihc is needed to overclock as the stock cooler will not do well).

Then the rest seems nice and I hope you and your brother will resolve this issue. I also hope I didn't bored you through this.

Dude I'll have to Run that for next 5 Years, Till 2019. I don't Think 760 can keep up for that long.

I'll not overclock my Processors and I prefer Single Card too but the 2nd build is my brother's and I'm worried about Power Supply.

I heard that VS series does not have enough Amps on 12v Rail to hold 2x 760s :/
