So several months ago, I downloaded some program to monitor my CPU temperature and it came along with "Conduit". Well, that was a hassle to get rid of and I don't want mall ware or any virus, trojon, worm or whatever could come up. Does the Norton toolbar protect or at least warn about malicouse sites? I just want to keep my gaming PC clean.

the fewer toolbars you have the better, and this includes norton.always when downloading any content, check for these addons like conduit and make sure you uncheck them so they dont download with the program.the big trick when getting rid of malware is using the right tool.there is no one program that does everything.another tip is to use a layered approach to protection.i use avast free and the paid version of malwarebytes, and finally im careful.also its a good idea to use a secure browser.i personally use comodo dragon.
