TV connection to Wifi network through Ethernet Socket & DSL modem

I have a SONY LED TV. It has Ethernet connection socket but no inbuilt wifi and i also have DSL modem (D-link DSL 2730U) . I would like to access wifi internet on my TV. Is there any way by which my TV can connect to wifi internet using DSL modem ????? If it is not possible please let me know the correct to do it.

I am assuming you are asking if you can hook the dsl device to your tv with a cable and then have that connect to another wireless router elsewhere ?

That won't work....at least with a simple glance at the manual.

The device would have to have what is called client-bridge which allows it to look like a end user device rather than providing wireless to end users.

You could buy a router with that feature but the device you are looking for is generally called a wireless media adapter or gaming adapter since old console games do not have wireless. Many of the wireless repeaters can do this function also.
