I got a message from my OS to select the updating options. I selected the auto updates option as it was recomended. It installed some updates in my pc. But after that next time when i oned my pc something wierd is happening. It first showed something as configuring windows. Then preparing desktop. After that all the desktop changed. Everything is saved but the shortcuts are deleted and at first my background was that default Windows 7 blue background but now it is black coloured. Also earlier while loading a rotating circle used to appear at side of my mouse cursor. Now that Window xp's sand clock appears. Also the letters appear diffrent. Why all this is happening. I want to restore to earlier. How to do that?

Look i think its maybe because you don't have original windows.
But anyway, to restore go to Start/Control Panel/Recovery
