hey guys, my pc Specs. is i5-3470 , HD 7870 XT , 4 GB Ram, Thermaltake 450w PSU

i can't play Watch Dogs on High, i have to make all settings on medium unless i get a blue Screen and my PC Restart .. I'm Sure that my GPU can Run Watch dogs on High easily.

so i don't know what's the cause of my pc restarting during playing wd, and sometimes the game freezes too.. i wonder if another 4 GB ram can make me play on high without crashing?
or it could be from something else? like the PSU?

"high" settings at what resolution? at 1600x900, yea, it might run on high. on 1080p or over, no it will not. as for the blue screens, that's a stability issue that forces the drivers to crash. which in turn is caused by either heat or excessive or improper overclocking.

however, in your case the issue is most likely the PSU. thermaltake's PSU are mostly junk (especially their "SMART" series, they're awful). and your card requires something over 500 watts. 600 watts+ if overclocked.

thank you..but i play all others modern games at 1080p with that GPU on Ultra with no problem at all.
i play Crysis 3 @ 1080p on Tweaked Ultra settings and i get 30-35 FPS, BF4 i get 35+ FPS, and Far Cry 3 i get 40+ FPS all on Tweaked Ultra @ 1080p.
so how come i can't play Watch dogs on High at-least?

also there no any overheat in my CPU niether my GPU...my GPU gets to 77c Max. at summer, there is no overclocking too.

PS. i play all other games for along period of time without crashing or having my pc restart..

i just updated my GPU driver from 13.12 to 14.4, and problem solved.. i guess the PSU is sufficient.. i have it from one year ago
