Hello,

I assume you have an old Pentium4; check this:

http://www.minecraftsystemrequirements.com

Your system barely copes with the minimum requirements from the CPU side, a dual-core being recommended; if your CPU is a Pentium D, you can expect no more than 30 FPS at lowest settings and max. 1280x1024 resolution. For higher resolutions and FPS, you must go with a discrete graphics card + better CPU + 4GB RAM.

it is dual core,i think it can go more than 60 fps because my cousin got 2 gb ddr1,2.4(not dual core),not so good graphics card..

The key words are not so good graphics card: almost any discrete graphics card is better than your on-board graphics. Also, your friend's CPU is a Pentium or an Athlon? Because at the same speed, Athlons were way better than Pentiums (a 2GHz Athlon64 easily beats a Pentium4 at 3GHz, and an Athlon64x2 at 2.2GHz defeats hands down a Pentium D-930 at 3GHz)

Your friend has an AMD Athlon64, which is better in every aspect than any single core Pentium 4, and for gaming was the preferred CPU back then (its 3500+ rating denotes that it will be faster than a 3.5 GHz Pentium 4).

Please list the specs of your actual computer, there is a chance that you already have a better PC than that PC from the link (which is very old -over 10 years old-- and has almost no path for upgrade, and also it has a very high price). You said you have a dual-core CPU, so it is way better than the Pentium 4 from that HP.

EDIT: what graphics card do your friend have?

EDIT 2: from the same site:

http://www.njuskalo.hr/pc-racunala/hp-dc7800-core-2-duo...

or:

http://www.njuskalo.hr/pc-racunala/pc-racunalo-dual-cor...

First has better CPU and bigger HDD, but relies also on onboard graphics; the second system has a discrete graphics card and can be upgradable (you can use a standard PSU and graphics card)

So its good to i buy one of those two ha?

What about the first link? That PC is better (Phenoms are better than Athlons, also it has a very good motherboard which can accomodate even the latest processors from AMD, such as the FX 6-core and 8-core series), the only problems are that the listing doesn't show exactly what model the graphics card is (it can be a 6750, 6770 or 6790) and also the PSU is an unknown brand/quality.

Be aware also that the PC from the second link doesn't have an HDD included for that price.

Both of them has 4 GB DDR3 (system RAM); the first system should also have at least 1 GB graphics memory, you just ask the seller which graphics card is exactly (brand / model / memory amount and type, DDR3 or DDR5). The card from the second system may have 1GB graphics memory, but you also must find out if it has DDR3 or DDR5 (graphics cards with identical graphics chip and with DDR5 are much better than the DDR3 ones).

I would prefer the first system, but only if it has at least a 500W decent PSU and at least a Radeon 6750 DDR5.

The easiest way is to tell him to send you a picture with the PSU label (you will find out also the PSU's maker) and a picture with the graphics card's label.

Hey dood,im about thinking on these pc´s you gave me...

2.http://www.njuskalo.hr/pc-racunala/pc-racunalo-dual-cor...
Which one should i buy?

Strictly from the two, go for the second one, Athlon dual core, because it has a discrete graphics card and that's you want to do, some gaming (probably around 30 fps on low and at 1280x1024 resolution).

However, you didn't say what system you have right now, maybe you could upgrade only the graphics card (for 66 Euros you can find some good cards). Download CPU-Z, install it and see what it says in the CPU, Mainboard, Memory and Graphics tabs (do some screenshots for each tab, upload them to Imgur and post here the links).

Please check these articles (read them entirely):

https://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/articles/325948... ;
http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=1235&ga... ;
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri?gameName=mine... .

The minimum requirements means the game will start, but you will experience terrible FPS. The recommended requirements means the game can be decently played, and it means a medium of 30 FPS, with occasionally dips under 30 FPS.

Here you can find the expected FPS for various systems and display resolutions:

http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Hardware_performance.

So, for at least 60 FPS at 1280x1024 display resolution you will need at least a first-gen quad-core CPU ( Q6600, Athlon x4) and at least a Radeon 4650 GPU (or an GeForce 240 DDR5).

Why do you need more than 60 FPS? You will see a difference between 30 and 60 FPS only if you have a CRT monitor or a very fast LCD monitor, with 1-2ms GTG. You will be better served by a system which will do 30 FPS in worst case scenario (large maps, lots of players).

That HP from the last link will do over 30 FPS only if you will buy another graphics card, or go for the lowest graphics settings and use a monitor with 1024x768 resolution. I don't understand how your friend's system can do over 60 FPS (or it is maximum FPS?), maybe he has a decent graphics card, something like a HD5750 or an GeForce 630 and also uses low graphics settings and low display resolution.

The 3750 has 1/2 of the 4650 graphics power, so his system cannot produce such framerate at 1280x1024 resolution; maybe he plays in a window or he plays fullscreen at 640x480, also with all details at minimum...
