if you look like reallllly close to the screen can you see the desktop? you need a well lit area to see this.. if so I have bad news for you. Monitor backlighting has gone bad most like due to the main load capacitor on the inverter board which controls the LED or cathode lighting in the monitor, unless your handy with pulling the monitor apart a soldering irion and understanding what the codes mean on the capcitor to order a 5 dollar replacement for it, chances are you need a new monitor

In most monitors, the inverter is on an entirely separate board, I replace them daily on tough-pads and business laptops for a living. Try rolling through amazon and looking for an inverter for your specific monitor. If you find it great, if not it is likely on the monitors main board.

The most awkward thing is that after press on/off for a while it keeps working till the next day of pc use, or hours. I can restart, shutdown, it will work, but after some hours I need to do the same thing, over and over again... :(

that sounds like a bad switch or maybe a bad soldering connection in the monitor , if the desktop is going when you push it on and off and on and off ,,, sounds like the desktop is working fine ,,, one more thing to try ,,,,, reach behind the monitor see if wiggling the cable some (just gently) effects if the screen comes on or not.
