Hello, I have an Alienware x51 extreme, you can see the specs here http://m.dell.com/mt/www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-x51-r2...
I have a AMD Radeon™ R9 270X with 2GB GDDR5 and I wanted to know if it's enough to play some games on the highest settings. If its not, for which Nvidia graphics card I could replace it for?

The R9 270X is a capable modern card for most of today's games.

The R9 280 / R9 280X could be considered as upper-mid range cards of today with the R9 290X being the current top-end of AMD's lineup without going the extra (somewhat extreme stretch) to the R9 295X.

I'm currently running a Gigabyte 780 GTX (roughly equivalent to an R9 290X) and I'm very pleased with its performance. I haven't seen any significant slowdown in any games whatsoever and have been using it since December.
