I recently got a new GPU ( Evga Geforce Nvidia GTX 750 Ti ). I have an AMD A10 5800k APU , and I uninstalled the drivers for the integrated graphics before installing the new GPU. Installed the new GPU , booted it up , installed the Nvidia drivers , re-booted and right before windows goes to desktop I get a blank screen. I have heard that I should have disabled , not uninstalled , my integrated graphics when I had the new GPU installed. Does anybody have any solutions to my problem? I have no idea what to do and I am at a complete loose end. Any help is really appreciated.

Did you uninstall the drivers of the previous graphics card?

Yes I did. I did it in device manager , right clicked on the integrated graphics and clicked uninstalled. Ive read that I should have disabled them instead of uninstalling them , however. Is this true?

OK - so you didn't have graphics card previously. Just integrated graphics. And yeah, you should've just disabled it.

You now got the monitor plugged into the 750ti and not the motherboard?

Yeah , I've only had integrated graphics recently. How can I re-install the drivers for my integrated graphics?
Yes I have it plugged into the 750ti with a DVI-VGA converter.

Thanks for the help man. I have fixed it. What I had to do was....
1. Take out the GPU.
2. Reconnect integrated graphics.
3. Boot in safe mode.
4. DO NOT RESTART WHEN PROMT.
5. Then , shut down your PC. Restart it , then change it back to normal mode.
Thats what I had to do and it works perfectly for me now. :)
