Hi, I was wondering what amount of watts I would need from a PSU in order to run a 3 Way SLI of ASUS GTX 660's. Right now I am running a Thermaltake TR2 800 watt but I don't think that would be enough. I was also wondering if it would be worth getting another ASUS GTX 680 and run a dual SLI, but that would set me back another $800 whereas the three 660's would only be $600. Also would heat be an issue running all three cards at once with no water cooling?

Help would be much appreciated.

PC Specs:

Motherboard: Gigabyte X79-UP4
Graphics Card: ASUS GTX 680 Direct CU II
Processer: Intel Core i7
RAM: 2x Kingston Hyperx 8gb
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 800 Watts
Case: Thermaltake Armor Revo

You're better off running two 680s in SLI. Less heat and power consumption.

Thanks, It would probably be better getting another 680 because I may have to get a new PSU and may not be worth it
