Why am I only maxing 140+ fps in League of legends never go down nor up? All settings are maxed and uncapped fps? Do I need to overclock my graphics card in order to achieve like 250-300 fps?

Why the other under powered cards can acieve it with ultra settings? Is there any settings or drivers that I missed?

He's my specs:
Sapphire r9 280x dual-x oc - stock
i5-4690k - stock
Corsair xc750m
Msi z97-g45

Why would you need 250fps on league? 140 fps is enough really.

Because some are running 280+ fps with the same card that I have. high fps doesn't bother me. I just want to know how to fix mine to achieve that kind of fps. I also using asus vg248qe 144hz

You don't any benefit when running at 250fps compared to 140fps with your monitor.
As long your gpu runs fine, don't worry about it. League of legends is always going to be updated and changed so your fps may vary each update. Someone saying 250fps doesn't mean anything.

if you have a 60hz monitor. the monitor can only handle 60fps. so theres really no point of going over what ur monitor can handle. and there generally 60hz, so 60fps
