covert OFC LAN to Wireless LAN

I have an OFC connection. But it provide only Wired connection to laptop. I want to convert it wireless lan. I also have a D-LINK ADSL WI-FI modem. Can i use it for my objective?

When you use the OFC device do you get a private IP or do you get a public one. What I am really asking is the OFC acting as only a modem or does it have a router function also. most times a modem gives public/routable IP and routers give private ones. If it is a router you can use you dsl router as a AP to get wireless. If this device is only acting as a modem then you will need to buy a different router. The device you have can only be used as a router on a DSL connection it does not have a way to hook a ethernet cable to it as a WAN connection.

It is named as "D-Link DSL-2750U Wireless N ADSL2 Wi-Fi Router".
And I am using MacBook Pro.
