I am having trouble connecting to the internet using a wired connection. My modem is not showing that I have my ethernet cable reading. When I go to properties from control panel, it"s showing that my network card realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller is working properly. I have a dell Inspiron 660s and when using the support system I ran tests. The network card test shows there is no cable connected. I have rebooted my computer, had att bring a new modem and ethernet cable but still cannot connect wired. The tech said I may need a new ethernet card? Can anyone help me out with this?
