My ASUS mobo is showing a steady red led. Computer and fans turn on but the keyboard and mouse does not. Had the issue two days ago. Turned off and back on and it worked fine. Played DayZ for several hours. Next day, turned on and nothing. Reseated the ram, nothing. Took the ram to my brothers. Installed in his PC and it booted fine. Not the RAM I guess. Power is 650watts corsair. I have plenty to spare on my system. Strange that it didn't work, then did, then didn't again. Thanks for the help.

This seems to be either the cpu or the board (obviously). If you haven't pressed the memok for 3 seconds until it does it's thing yet, you should try. You should also try resetting the CMOS. The cpu was the reason I got this problems a while ago, but I'm not sure about it in your case.
