Advice on gaming/editing build.

Good afternoon, i'm currently putting together a pc build for primarily gaming, but with the capabilites to edit captured gameplay to a decent standard.

This is my attempt

Could do with some advice on my selection, will probably stick some more memory in a few months, budget is around the £1500 range.

Get Z97 M7 Hero, 4790k, higher freq memory. You can get R9 290X (better than 780, it competes with 780 Ti) for around the same price+1GB more VRAM, so why not. Also, if your case is your personal preference, then leave this point, but you can get Phantom 530 White full tower for less money, and a G2 PSU for 4 bucks more, which's a substancially better PSU. Also, Samsung EVO is an awesome SSD, why spend more. You can very well get 8.1 OS.
