choosing the right one?

yesterday my friend asked me to build a computer for him as his old laptop was unable to play games anymore.I am done with everything just left with cpu and mobo.I am confused which to buy -Intel i3 4130 or a 760k.He loves to play games like bf4,bioshock etc..

Neither, get Pentium G3258 with Z97 MoBo and cooler. When OCed to 4.2Ghz and above, it outperforms the Athlon in almost every benchmark. i3 is a wise choice considering future but even it won't be able to catch up with pentium's solid single core performance, on which most games today rely :)
