MSI Motherboards Bad Quality also mean bad GPUs?

I hear the quality control on MSI motherboards is bad. Is their GPU department better? Would Asus or Gigabyte be the better pick?

Also, what is the better cooler, Windforce 3X vs Direct CU II?

the direct cu ii is better than the wind force but more expensive but worth the price
the msi gpus aren't bad but known to have issues like the windforce 3x
if you are getting a amd gpu then get a sapphire tri-x card like the toxic or vapour-x
the msi motherboards are not bad but the sometimes have defects on them like other mobo makers

Never had an issue with Asus or MSI, customer service was not terrible. I tend to lean towards Asus motherboards becuase MSI include a lot of features I simply would not use, also for Nvidia GPU's. But when my customer wants an AMD build I also stick with MSI. I don't touch Gigabyte, Windforce may be good, but more fans, more chance for component failure.

I don't know about the durability of MSI GPU's, but my first MSI GPU (GTX 970 Gaming 4g) is performing as well as I can hope, so I have no issues with them on that. No idea about customer service since I buy through a dealer and so any problems with my hardware I go to him and not the company themselves
