Hi
111111 Repeater: sr10000 or HW2R1

I 'm about to buy the Amped SR10000 repeater since it is rank no 1 accordind to some . I also sa that the hawking HW2R1 is often no 1 in other revieux ... Help me choose the best .

( My friend living in a different appartment has the wdr 3600 router(dualband) form tp link and I am 25 meters from his appartment and brick walls et concret walls and metal things are between us. IM looking for constant signal and sensitivity; speed is not that important )

Between those two I would pick the Hawking. Dual radios will allow you to not have the 50% speed decrease associated with most repeaters.
Personally I would use something else. I would use either a Ubiquiti Nanostation LOCO M2 or Nanostation NSM2 depending on how much gain I need. The Loco M2 has an 8dbi gain and the NSM2 has a 11dbi gain. They are directional and I have had good luck with them. If I were you I would use a software like inSSIDer or an app for mobile devices to see the level of the signal you are getting from your friend. That will help you decide how much gain you need, and even if it will work at all (if any of his signal is getting through). Anyway the Ubiquiti Nanostation would get the signal then you could...
