I'm currently building my first pc build since my laptop of 7 years is in its final stages of life. I've finally amassed a collection of steam games I can't play and Need a way to digitally record my music. My budget is $1200-1500 before shipping and would be happy with a computer that can run current games on high settings, so the most important part would be that my computer can handle recording with daws and all the plug-ins it requires. I have no parts yet since I have no idea where to start. Thanks for any help in advance!

Where the SSD go? ;)

No SSD=Better GPU:)
Anyways it only improves loading times and write/read times...

What?
An SSD is probably the best upgrade you can do to a PC.
