Replacing my PSU

I am looking to get a new PSU to allow myself to crossfire two graphics cards. At the moment I am using a Corsair RM650 and given that I only require a little more wattage to allow me to crossfire I plan to simply get the RM850 as it should be sufficient. Given that they are the same type of PSU and are modular would it be possible to leave the current cables attached to the rest of the hardware and connect them to the new PSU?

Yes it's fine , because they use the same cables even if you want different colors.
