Similar pre-built computer?

Hello,

I found an iBUYPOWER Source Series NE654FX on NewEgg costing around $690 base price. Keep in mind this comes with a pre-installed OS, a keyboard, and mouse.

Here is the link to the NewEgg page:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227546

If I were to build the same computer (including keyboard, mouse, and OS), it will cost me around $100 or more. Based on this, I can conclude that buying this pre-built computer will be cheaper than buying each individual part and peripheral.

Before finding this computer, which most likely will not be restocked, I needed excellent parts that will last three or more years in the sense of how well it will perform in very high-end games like BF4 and how long the parts will last overall.

I did my research and saw that with the FX-8320 and R9 270X, this computer can run BF4 at ultra with no problem. My main concern is that, as I mentioned before, it most likely will not be restocked. Again, it's much cheaper for me to buy this pre-built computer that comes with an OS and peripherals than buying each component, an OS, a keyboard, and a mouse, and then building it from there.

My question is: Is there a computer that is $700 or under that can run BF4 at ultra with no problem that is pre-built? In all honesty though, if the total cost of building a computer was cheaper than buying a similarly(or same)-specced computer that includes an OS and a mouse and keyboard, I'd definitely build my own.

Please do leave a link or something that will aid me nicely. Thanks in advance!

Buying individual parts and putting them together is actually cheaper than buying a prebuilt. Are you sure you got the exact same parts?

The thing is, my budget is a tight one, so an R9 270X should do the trick for most, if not all medium-end games. I just looked up my specs for BF4 because I figured that if those specs can run a high-end game like Battlefield 4, then it can run any other game below that.

BF4 really is not a high end game anymore. MANY MANY games are WAY harder to run than BF4.

http://anandtech.com/bench/product/1043 here you will clearly see that a 270x only get 42fps at ultra on BF4. This means you will probably have lag spikes and FPS drops as it is not locked at 60. The 270x is a "high settings" card for BF4, NOT ultra.

This seems like a nice build indeed, but if I were to buy a mouse and keyboard, it'll go over my budget (disregarding tax and shipping costs), which again, is very tight for me.

Are you sure there is no pre-built computer you can find then?

Not including tax and shipping costs, although I would appreciate it if the total cost could be below $750 or so, my base-price budget is $700.

Oh yes, and as long as it can run BF4 probably just at low, it should be fine for me.

Oh, nice build, thank you. I'll keep this in consideration. But since all the parts are from different sites, how much would the total price of tax and shipping (to California) be?

Using PC Part Picker, yes.

I used http://pcpartpicker.com/ to "build" my own computer, and the site helps see if there is any incompatibility issues, what the total price is including current discounts and mail-in rebates, etc.

What I did with PC Part Picker is I built the same computer as I was looking at from NewEgg, and the total cost is more than the PC I was looking at on NewEgg. If I added a keyboard, mouse, and OS (which are included with the pre-built PC), the PC I built on PC Part Picker would cost way more.
