im going to build my first gamingpc soon :D but was thinking wich cpu fan should i get and how do i know its going to have space for the ram? ( im planning on buying the asus z97-A with the case fractal design 4).

( i got the answer that it would fit on the motherboard but i forgot to ask if there would be space for ram). help

Solution
I doubt that there would be a CPU cooler that wouldn't fit on an atx motherboard, you'll be fine. If you want to overlclock moderately then the cooler master 212 evo, it will be your best 'bang for buck' buy. If you want to do more heavy duty overclocking then I would advise the corsair H100i.

The Design R4 supports CPU cooler up to 170mm in height when no side case fans are installed.
The Hyper 212 EVO would be an excellent choice,as it is the best budget cooler, will fit in your case (height 160mm) and it will definitely keep your CPU cool even if you OC it.
All the best. ;)
