desktop resolution problem

my monitor supports 1920x1080 and my card does too but i cant seem to find the native res in catalyist control center or when i right click and go to resolution on the desktop..

here are my specs..
21.5' benq g2220hda monitor
core 2 duo e7200
ati radeon 4850 1gb
4gb 1333mhz ddr3 ram
asrock g41m vs3 r2.0 mobo

i wanna use the native display so please help me

How did you not find it by right clicking on the desktop and clicking resolution?

it just wasnt there it said the max was 1600x1200 or something like that.. do you know i could fix this ?

yup i have the latest driver off the amd website jus recently.. i saw a tutorial on how to fix it but it did not work..i want it to be at 1080 because every other resolution is either stretched out or just bulgy

Try this in CCC:

Start>Desktops and Displays> Desktop Management> Desktop Properties

And see if you can find the res. there.

And you're sure the cable is plugged into your graphics card, not your motherboard? Perhaps try using a DVI cable rather than VGA+adapter or vice versa and see if it works.
