Additional Comments: Have an Asus VG248QE so will be looking for a build that can achieve consistently high frame rates in line with this at maximum settings in the most demanding titles. Peripherals I have budgeted for separately a la VG248QE.

The EVGA B and Nex series are not good power supplies - they're rebranded HEC units that can't handle the loads required by a 780. You need at least a G2 or better would be a P2.

Just a question in regard to a point inferred by the above question. How much performance would an overclocked i5 4690k give me over an i5 4690, in other words, how much do a processors clock speeds really effect gaming performance?
