I currently have a 1Tb hdd installed on my computer which I use about 300Gb out of, I've recently brought a new mobo, SSD 120Gb, CPU & GPU but here is my question I need to install my current windows 8 onto the the new mobo/SSD with the least amount of hassle how would you do it?

My personal recommendation:
Reinstall the OS and all your applications.

You'll get a lot of "clone it!", but I almost always recommend a fresh install on a new SSD. Far less chance of fail.

1. Have only the SSD connected
2. Boot from your install media and install to the SSD
3. Let it do all its updates
4. Reconnect the HDD, and begin to install your applications.

OK then. Basically two options:

1. Obtain the factory reset disks, either from CyberPower or via whatever disk creation set up there is
2. Reduce the used space on your 1TB to below 100GB, and migrate the whole thing over.

You will need two optical drives for this: In Control Panel under Backup and Restore you can create a system image. It's really easy, but you may need a few DVD's. After creating the system image, create a system repair disc. You will only need one CD for this. Then, after installing your SSD, boot from the system repair disk. Select the option to restore from system image. Then, follow the directions and use your other optical drive to install the system image.
