What games are you going to be playing. If skyrim the intels are your best bet. If other modern games you can go with an fx-6300 CPU

This is what I would do with $1000. Strong CPU that should last you quite a while, good GPU for the price, great quality fully modular PSU, good monitor. I kept everything from Amazon and Newegg, as it seemed that was your preferred places, though you might be able to get better deals elsewhere. I chose a slightly more expensive case than I thought was needed, but you can always change that. If you do want to change things, click the build link at the top and edit the parts list. Oh and I custom added Windows 7 for $70 since it seems like you got that separately.
