One day when I started my PC I got this screen:
fix_reg.jpg

Is it a Windows problem or some of my components are f**ked up?

Solution
If you get a copy of xp on disc, you'll boot from that and it should give you option to repair or re-install. After that follow directions. Microsoft will be of no help because WinXP is no longer supported, as of April. It is a 12year old OS, and thats old.

Option 1 :
- Find the CD with same windows version with your current. Can be buy or bought from friend.

Option 2:
- Bring your HDD and connect to another PC with same windows version and copy the system dir from that PC to your HDD and try booting the PC using your HDD as primary boot device.

Option 3:
- Go to technician with your PC/call technician if available.

Hope this will fix your problem.

only the first option will work according to me because taking it to a technician would cost him money and they will also not install the windows for free if thats not a pirated version and the 2nd option will not work at all because the motherboards are diffrent and that will create driver issues.

You right, option 2 not useless at all if he only use 1 drive with no partition. At least for saving his data before do technical action with the HDD.

Windows is free. You can get an image from Microsoft. Where the piracy comes in is the Windows key. That key should be on a sticker on the side of the pc, or still in the paperwork / book that op should have kept up with.

I'd suggest running chkdsk /f, and/or anti-virus with boots can capabilities. System files are not exactly easy to delete by accident
