I just bought a pair Sennheiser HD 558 headphones. They'll be used for everything on my PC, so gaming, music, netflix, youtube, etc. I don't have any sound card or amp currently installed. My motherboard is an Asus Z87-A so I only have the Realtek High Def Audio for use. Thanks.

Honestly, these days you don't need a sound card unless you're producing audio professionally. Motherboards do an amazing job with audio. For your basic gaming/movies, i personally wouldn't bother with one.
If you have your heart set on getting one, Definitely don't cheap out on it since you won't see any quality difference with an entry level card.. I would recommend this unit here, although it is quite pricey (it's likely the best card for headset users)

You should be fine with the onboard audio.

The Audio generated by the chipset uses the Realtek ALC892 which is great for the average user.
