My sound will cut out for a few seconds every few minutes, and this applies for all applications. Games, chat, video, you name it. I've tried different speakers, updated drivers, reverted drivers, but I can't seem to find a fix. I've also seen similar issues with Asus mobos listed on here, but none of the fixes listed seemed to work. Any ideas?

I have the EZ Updater and AI Suite, but the EZ Updater was not detecting any new versions when it ran its check. I then went to the site and downloaded the latest BIOS. However, when running manually in the EZ Updater, it doesn't get anywhere past the loading bar. As far as sound drivers go, I have had these updated.
