Is Killer E2200 gaming network better than Intel?

From my perspective, the Killer NIC has a nicer UI and is more customizable, but the Intel NIC is comparable and less expensive. Not only that, most operating systems have Intel NIC drivers built in - so you rarely have to load a separate driver, but you will always have to use one for the Killer NICs. And how often do you want to tweak with your network settings, anyway?

Keep in mind that the Killer NICs typically use Atheros chips - it is optimizations and software that improves their performance. Some people have even had BSOD problems when performing unusual network activity like port scans with Killer NICs.
