i got a new r9 270x and i'm wondering if my cpu is bottlenecking the graphics card
my cpu is q6600
also is it worth it to upgrade from q6600 to i3 4130

The C2Q will begin to bottleneck in some games that at CPU bound, yes. The i3-4130 will be much quicker, but will require a motherboard upgrade as well.
