I am beginning my first build. i have the Asus Z87-A MOBO, i5 4670K, 2 4Gb Ripjaw X series,Samsung 840 EVO 120GB sdd, 1TB HDD, Seasonic gold series 650watts. But now I'm stumped on which video card is suitable for my setup. But I just don't want to go overboard either.

yes more vram on the r9 280 means more games can be played at ultra in the future when more vram is needed. the r9 280 has better fps in 1080p and higher res and is great for the price (lower than the gtx 760)

Yes! already bought but both MOBO are not that much different. I don't want to go over $200

lol the r9 290(350$), r9 280x(280$), r9 280(199$ and stronger than a gtx 760)

So the r9 280 is better than the gtx760. Can it be overclocked?
