Help! Partition is in active after BOD

Recently my younger sibling ran into a BOD with her laptop.

The computer is running windows Vista 32bit.

Going by the image, the one partition to the right of the C drive is inactive, while it was working before the BOD. I am not entirely sure what happen to cause the BOD.

Please help, there is a lot of important files on this drive

If Windows still boots okay (try it to check), the 'Active' partition is still correct otherwise you would get a boot error.
And since there can only be one 'Active' partition on the boot drive, the partition you're referring to cannot have been 'Active' before the BSOD.

When you say that partition "isn't working" now, can you be more specific?
