Hello, I would like to build my own PC but I don't know how

I've been looking into it but the more I learn the less I know.
I just want to build a PC for editing video and playing video games, for around $700-$900.
I for sure want an Intel i-7 core, but other then that I can't keep trap what's compatible, good, and fairly priced.

Check out pcpartpicker.com where you can create a build. Do so and post it with the export button on the right side of your build! We will then tell you if all is compatible or not and improvements/fixes.

I'm going to drive to Baltimore (about a half hour drive from were I am) to pick up the Intel i7 core, making this build a good $60 cheaper

Mismatched CPU (OC capable) and motherboard(non-OC capable)
1 x 8GB RAM. 2 x 4GB is slightly better

How is this updated list? Also, if the Motherboard is still not OC compatible, how do I check to see if it is? I'm assuming OC is Overclocking, which google says needs an intel z series chipset.

You still have a high end CPU and a budget motherboard.
And the changed RAM is 4 x 2GB, limiting your future upgrade options. You're using all 4 slots right off the bat. If you ever want to go to 16GB, you'd have to remove all 4 2GB sticks.
You want 2 x 4GB instead of 4 x 2GB.

On a related note, is Wi-Fi Go the same thing as Wi-Fi? The motherboard I have selected comes with Wi-Fi Go and I am wondering if I also need an added on wi-fi peripheral.

All looks good, except for that Apevia PSU. Do not buy or use that one under any circumstance.

Check this list, and get something from Tier 1 or 2.

That Apevia is a Tier 5 item.

And that WiFi on the board is fine. You won't need anything else.
