Hey guys, I recently bought a Sapphire Radeon r9 290x Toxic GPU. I am using this with my hackintosh and I cannot seem to get HDMI audio working with this thing. I have researched plenty of other forums to no prevail. I come to you guys today, looking for the answer.

I have tried things such as; installing all universal voodoo sounds kexts from Multibeast 1 by 1 and nothing worked. Some even stopped the computer from booting without the safe mode flag.

Thank you in advance.

Why not ask on the actual hackintosh forums instead of here...

I'm not even sure that it's allowed to be discussed here as it's technically violating the EULA.

If it is not allowed to be discussed here, then I am sorry. If it is, then I will start by saying I already have and people are in the dark when it comes to this, and rude when they do answer. A moderator said I was hijacking a thread by commenting on the same issue by saying 'nobody has a solution?' 'Im going to dig deeper and come back with my research for you.' Just about like that and I'm apparently a non productive forum goer

No it's not that. I wouldn't think that anyone here is really an avid OSX user, so your best bet is looking up the osx86 forums and whatnot to see if you can find something that helps you, or by posting something.

Sorry for not being 100% clear... I did post on tonymac86 forum and that is where I got a rude response from people who do not have the knowledge to answer my question. I appreciate the response however. I will keep searching around, thanks :p

tonymac86 is awful. It's all closed source and nobody really likes it, except inexperienced users. Find something like osx86.org (or something like that).
