Monitor comparison question

Solution
yes and no. You're going to get a prettier picture with the 29" for 2 reasons. First being the most obvious, you will no longer have an ugly line seperating the two displays and secondly the 80m:1 ratio is going to be far superior to the 50m:1 ratio. Downside is you will be losing 21 inches of screen. The 29" comes with speakers that apparantly have nice sound quality. Another downside, if you game the 29" has a 5ms response rate over a 2ms of the smaller screen. Really 3 ms is minimal and you will no notice it.

Personally I would grab the 29" for the better picture quality and just use one of the smaller for a secondary display for multi-tasking.
