My LG 42LD520-UA has a manual which is confusing. It says that

Wtf is real cinema for my LG 42LD520-UA?

I have turned them both on and I see ZERO difference. All that is actually apparent is that Trumotion is interpolating. Making Real Cinema on only seems to affect DVDs and even then it sucks and it's incredibly hard to see a difference so I may still be wrong. Judder is definitely not "totally eliminated" by any means.

The manual says
REAL CINEMA
--Makes video clips recorded in film look more natural by eliminating judder
effect.
--DVD and Blu-ray movies are filmed at 24 frames per second (fps). With
LG Real Cinema, every frame is consistently processed 5 times in 1/24 of
a second producing 120 fps with TruMotion or 2 times in 1/24 of a second
producing 48 fps without TruMotion, thus totally eliminating the judder
effect.
--This function can also work when TruMotion is off.

I've been researching this off and on for months and my eyes are going to bleed. I paid a shit load of money for this TV and I want to know what everything is. LG is pissing me off so badly. If they keep incurring my wrath like this I may have to stuff a few adorable little puppies in a sack and sit on them til they make a yucky crunch sound in order to feel better about wasting hundreds of dollars. haha just kidding

Solution
Try asking in the graphics and displays or the home theater forum, this isn't really video game related.
Have you tried contacting LG support?
