I currently have an Asus M11AD Desktop computer, and I'm looking to upgrade the graphics card. It has an i5 4th Gen, GeForce GT 625M, 350W power supply, I think a Micro ATX motherboard and a Mid Tower that's been small form fitted. Would I be able to upgrade the GPU to a Radeon R9 280? If so, what power supply or other components would I need to change as well? The link to my PC is; http://www.asus.com/ca-en/Desktops/M11AD/.

I wouldn't recommend the highest end of GPU as it may not fit in there at all in the mid tower (unless is a Zalman tower which fit a 780Ti). So maybe a Nvidia 770 and below or an AMD 290 (only a few mm longer than the 770 so maybe bays need to be removed) and below. And it shouldn't have a problem fitting.

The OP is talking about the R9 280, not the GTX 780.

Sorry but I have misread the question. Do apologised for that mate.

Umm, yes as I said the 290 will fit therefore a 280 will fit without a problem and no removing any bays. If you were to get a good PSU will you be overclocking.

If yes, then get a 600W from Tier 1 or 2. I will provide the list at the bottom.

If no, then get a 550W from Tier 1 to 3, but not 4 or more.

Here the PSU tier list if you are curious.

At the moment the EVGA B series is only $1 less than the XFX. Definitely worth the $1 for the better PSU, although the B series is a solid budget line. I'd stay away from the Corsair CX series, they have cheap capacitors and don't operate well under higher temps. If it was going in a larger case maybe, but not in a mATX case.
