Extreme Crysis 2 Lag Spikes

Hey. I bought all the crysis games during an Origin sale a couple months ago. I can run Crysis 1, Crysis Warhead, and Crysis 3 all on highest graphics settings with little to no lag. Crysis 2 I can run on highest graphics setting, but at random intervals (that are getting much shorter in between) the game starts to lag massively, cutting down to 1-2 FPS. I've tried for months now to find a fix and even emailed Crytek support (they didn't respond). I've played all the other Crysis games thouroughly and love them. I'd REALLY like to get Crysis 2 working. Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it?

Things I know are NOT the issue:
-Overheating
-System specs that don't meet the minimum requirements

Basic System Specs:
Windows 8.1 (x64)
5GB RAM
Intel Pentium Duo Core 2.40GHz
AMD Radeon HD6800 series GPU

I am using AMD Catalyst Control Center to overclock my GPU.

Also, I may have posted this question twice- my internet's being sketchy recently. o.o; If I did, I apologize in advance. I don't know where to find the other post or how to delete it though (or I might have only actually posted once which would explain why I can't find it). EDIT: I did post twice. I found the other post but I don't know how to delete it.

I'd suggest restarting your computer, and only opening Crysis to start off with. If you have left the game running for a long enough time (or even the PC) I find it tends to slow down after a while on Windows 8.1. A quick restart then booting the game up without opening any other tabs may be help. It could also be something wrong with Crysis, have Origin scan the game, and check it's settings as well.
