does the psu efficiency decreases with time?

I have corsair CX 430 v2 for 3 years
And a bit worried as gtx 660 is freezing on it
Any help is greatly appreciated

I'd guess. CX are pretty crappy to start with. And having cheap parts, they'd go downhill quicker than say a Seasonic. If they are max 80% efficient at day zero, by 1 year they'd be 78%, 2 years 75%, 3 years 70%, 4 years 65% and by 5 years they'd burn out.
