Hi guys, so it title pretty much says it all.

I don't really want too but if I have too I will.

My cooler is a corsair h80i placed in the top front of my 750D but it is only in pull configuration I took out the second fan because it was making a really annoying noise against the exhaust.

I could possibly move the cooler at the back of the case to take air in and put a 140 on the top as exhaust and I also removed the drive cages and put 2 120mm fans instead.

If I leave my h80i only in pull configuration where it is what will my temps be at 4.2ghz ?

Thanks in advance Matthieu !!!!!

if you oc it, there shouldn't be much bottleneck

It's not bottlenecking really, ocing will indeed give more performance

Wait if:

- stock => bottleneck or not ?

- oc'ed => more performance no difference bottlenecking wise

??????

Stock = No bottlenecking and you'd be totally fine.
OCed = Better performance out of your system.

So there is no reason to Oc then ? But if I do what will the performance increase be like in battlefield 4 for example 5-10% increase in fps ?

I'd oc it to make sure there is no bottleneck, by ocing it you should get up to 8fps more maybe

Well I finally got my second 780 and guess what....?

I am around 80 fps in battlefield 4 at 1080p I have not overclocked my CPU but I will try this week-end.

Not sure where this comes from, my sli is enabled and I have put physx on my processor not recommended because it was using enabled on the second 780.

Please help I am kind of depressed..... :(

Hmm sorry I did not type correctly. In my control panel I have my sli enabled and physx set on my processor this used to be set on my second gtx 780 which is maybe normal but I read online that people got better performance while doing that.

Thanks in advance !

No it's the other way around, physx should be done by the motherboard, as it can handle it pretty much. Even one 780 would be able to handle physx on it. Putting it on the CPU would lower your performance. Try what i said and post results.

Well the default settings were set on the second GPU but there is no difference between when physx is set on the processor nor the second GPU. I don't know what to do. In the manage 3D settings panel I have set the GPUs to maximise performance But still I think I have to OC my CPU now... Any suggestions ? :(

Put the Physx on one of your gpus and over clock your cpu to 4.2-4.4 GHz, that's an easy overclock and you wouldn't have to worry about your cpu bottlenecking.

Well i have failed to oc my temps with the retail fans were easily above 85 degrees on OCCT not even prime 95. I have seen a difference in fps on an empty siege of Shanghai server.

But my processor was almost always unstable an I never had a real chance to stress test.

My birthday is next week should i use my money to buy an h100i and put the fans i already have on them ? Or just not overclock and find another solution but it seems like there isn't to do I guess !!!

And i have a hard time living with the stress of my processor maybe beeing damaged !

thanks in again for the help !!!!! :)

Well, an i7 performs better on bf4 as it actually uses it. So if bf4 is a main game you should upgrade to an i7. But if not you can get the h100i and overclock.

Well I will see but even when I used oc genie 2 my computer was not stable. I will see what options I have but right now I am saving my money for a sound card and a mechanical keyboard !

Thanks again !!!
