Pentium Ann. with Z87 Advice?

I have stuck myself in a stupid situation. I'm tight on cash and have already bought my motherboard, an ASRock Fatal1ty Z87 Killer. I had my CPU picked out but then saw the Pentium anniversary and want it. However, my motherboard doesn't support Haswell refresh out of the box, and I don't have another LGA1150 CPU to do the Bios update. Is there a way to do the Bios update without a CPU? What would be my best option? Help appreciated!

Your motherboard might have the latest BIOS already so you might be fine. If not, try going back to the store from where you got the motherboard and try to ask for a replacement that has a newer BIOS.

I would think it would boot up with that 3258 but you might need to update the BIOS to Ver 1.50 so it can recognize it's unlock potential.
