Hey,

So I would like to buy a good PC gaming headset preferably at around the £30 to £40 price range. In this headset, I am looking for a good quality mic and that they are comfortable.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions

I would give you some tips. Don't use USB headset for any less than 100 EUR. They are always worse than analog ones. First I bought a Creative Tactic3D for 34 EUR.

The bass was very muddy. The high frequencies were off. The mids were bearable. I tried the headset both with the 3D Sound from USB and analog. Though using them analog was a bit better. The microphone was rather noisy and it is too far from your mouth. The 3D surround was believable but it is very muddy.

After two days I went and replaced them for Logitec G230. I got them for 42 EUR.

The G230 has good base and highs. Mic is descent, it extends well to your mouth, so you don't have to dial the volume up and induce noise. The textile paddings are comfortable and you can take them off to wash them.

I would recommend you avoiding USB headsets at this price and go for analog ones. I am very happy with my G230, but there is also some Sennheiser in the 40s range that are good to take a look on em. Cheers.
