I want to build a pc that can play current and future (2-3 years at max) games at high / very high (Don't want ultra stuff) settings with playable frames (like 30-35 fps for ex.) at 1600 * 900 resolution. I made the following build,

1- AMD A10-7850k
2- MSI A88X G43 Motherboard
3- G.Skill RipJaws 2x4GB 2133 MHz
4- Samsung 128GB SSD
5- Seasonic 500 Watts PSU
6- no graphics card...

Can this combination achieve what i want?
Waiting for your valuable suggestions!
Thank You!
btw do i need an aftermarket cooler if i go ahead and buy those or the stock is fine? I dont plan overclocking.

Solution
Yes, you can play games at high settings at 1600 X 900 but it depends on how intensive the game is. The AMD A10 7850k can play most games at 1280 X 720 at high settings. I own one and use it with the igpu and it gets the job done. I suggest getting an aftermarket cooler since it would cool it better and be quieter.

You can check out this youtube channel if you want an idea of how the AMD A10 7850k performs.

Sorry, but AMD apu's aren't powerful enough. Maybe Kaveri. But if you want high settings with playable fps (higher even), I suggest the R9 270 for around 150 USD. Pair that with an FX-6300 or 6350 and you'd have a decent gaming system. No stock cooler is required BTW.

Thank You for your reply :D
Can 7850k play games at high in 1366 * 768 or 1600 * 900 resolutions?
My problem is i dont have high budget. Dont want fx stuff cause i feel they are kinda old... and intel cpu with gpu is expensive. :(

Thank You Very Much!
As you own one 7850k yourself, i feel more secure and confident on the purchase.
BTW i was just checking and it says you can add a r7 250 graphics card and pair with 7850k. Is it worth it? Have you tried it yourself?

I don't suggest doing dual graphics with the APU and an r7 250. The dual graphics performed the same as the igpu. I didn't get much improvement in most games and ended up returning it. An AMD r7 260x and up (Nvidia equivalent as well) would be a better upgrade to increase performance in games.

I have gaming at 1920x1080p on BF4, Titan Fall and AW I can get it playing excellent on medium at 100_125 resolution, cranking it up to high and ultra is still highly playable with some slight annoying lag in ultra.....but the point is it's still playable on Ultra.

This is just using the a10 7850k APU (alone) with the stock cooler and no usage of AMD Overdrives auto clock feature.

Set up

CPU a10 7850k
Mobo Gigabyte A88xn
Ram RipJawz x4 gb 2400 mhz
GPU R9 270 (Gigabyte windforce)
Psu Fractal Integra 650w

Gaming using the R9 270.....well it's just smoother

I recommend it for low budget builds if you want to skip a dedicated card. I'll be pulling out the card and stick it in another build.....that is once I figuire out how to OC the APU as it's my first build.

UPDATE====== I just sold my R9 270 to get an R9 280x....the asian guys that came to buy it a(case & mobo included) were astounded at the game play of this APU and their jaws dropped when they looked in the window to see no graphis card.
