I have an OLD PSU which contain a 2 Pin wired 80mm DC 12V 0.15A Fan. Now I remove this fan from PSU and want to install it on may cabinet. I opened the cabinet and found that my mobo has a 4 Pin CPU fan connector which alredy hold the CPU Fan jack on it. and beside that a 4 Pin rare Fan port.. But as I mention, the PSU fan contain only 2 Pin (2 wire, red and black) on it . So is it possible to connect this 2 pin fan on my mobo? Also I have 2 empty Molex Female port coming from PSU box but I dont know how I can connect the 2 pin fan with the molex cable. waiting for ur help. thnks in advance friends!

Here is the image of my PSU Fan :

But if you want there is nothing special about it.

volts are volts, and amps are amps, meaning all 12volt .550Mv fans draw the same power, ect.

I have used dozens of fans in every way imaginable.

You can get a molex to 2 wire adapter.
You can solder it into a standard molex adapter.

You can run it at 5volts, 7volts, or 12volts, depending how you solder it.

black and yellow gives you 12volts
red and black gives you 5volts
red to yellow, using red as the ground gives you 7volts

These will run at different speeds of course.

You can even plug it into the 4 pin mother board connection if you find the right 2

There is already a tab to align a 3pin plug/

you want the2 pins on the side the tab is offset to, the end one is ground.

Of course all this is at your own risk.
Just answering the question.
